Introduction and Production Process of PVC Protective film

PVC protective film is distinguished by its base material. It is called PVC protective film because it is made of PVC base material. PVC is commonly known as polyvinyl chloride. PVC has a relatively high light transmittance and belongs to amorphous chemical plastics.
The raw material PVC molding protective film is highly transparent, but due to actual needs, there are also yellow and blue PVC protective films.
The production process of PVC protective film is classified (by the method of applying adhesive) :
1. Blown film/cast film;
2. Apply glue;
3. Curing;
4. Rewriting;
5. Packaging.
The melting point of PVC is above 185 to 205℃, and its long-term service temperature can reach 100℃. If the temperature resistance of the protective film adhesive is appropriate, the short-term temperature resistance of PVC can exceed 150℃. As it is a polyester material, it is necessary to avoid direct sunlight or areas with strong secondary radiation as much as possible to prevent the degradation of PVC materials and unstable use.
